I Am Who I Am

Hi there, my name is Christian. I am a designer from Melbourne, Australia. It is a fair assumption to say I have a passion for all things creative, particularly when it comes to design, photography & music.

While I can't say when this creative passion arose, I can't help but feel it is something that has always been apart of me. Growing up, my father worked from home which allowed me to watch him work his craft. He was a sign-writer by trade and thus my learning of design fundamentals was fed to me at a young age, even if it was somewhat subliminally. I can recall having a habit of spending too much finessing the typographic titles on my school work instead of spending time on the actual work itself, much to my teachers dismay.

As I got older it was a new creative pursuit that came to the fore, music. It was this passion that would see me through my later years of high school and give me direction when deciding on a higher-education future, choosing to learn about the music business.

It was my time at Victoria University that my passions for design and the skills I possessed started to come to the fore. While working on an applied research project, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to design a CD Cover for Australian Music Week 1999 as well as some work on websites for Ausmusic and some other music industry companies. It was opportunities like these, at this time that gave me the confidence to seriously start expressing my creativity as I looked to unleash my passions within.

Through the positions I have held and to the clients I have been fortunate to work with as a freelancer, I have developed a large skill set through which to practice my craft. From working with the smallest of businesses right through to large corporations, I have the expertise to deliver the creative solutions for your business.
